    SUBJECT:    MONKEY POX KEY REGULATIONS

    Dear Brethren,

    The Conference Administration is appealing to all church members to comply with the Government Regulation on Monkey Pox in all worship center to protect ourselves from the deadly virus.

    Below are the key regulations:

    KEY REGULATIONS

    Clean Hands & Clean Spaces

    • Provide handwashing stations at all entry and exit points
    • Clean surfaces that are touched often, daily
    • Display Mpox prevention posters in local languages

    Watch for Symptoms & Report

    • Appoint a health focal person in every location
    • Report signs of Mpox: fever, rash, or swollen lymph nodes
    • Support contact tracing and monitor exposed persons for 21 days

    Keep it Sanitary

    • Disinfect shared items and spaces every day
    • Keep all handwashing stations clean and supplied

    Keep a Safe Distance

    • Avoid overcrowding—keep at least 1 meter (3 feet) between people
    • Stagger services or gatherings where possible

    Avoid Physical Contact

    • No handshakes or hugs
    • Anyone with symptoms should stay home and call 117 or visit a health facility

    We are excited to announce the maiden Pathfinder Camporee of the West African Union Mission (WAUM) scheduled as follows:

    Date: December 21–28, 2025 Venue: Liberia. Registration Fee: USD 55 per participant

    Transport Cost: To be communicated in due course.

    Some Master Guides from our Conference will also be recommended to serve on various camporee committees. We encourage all Pathfinders and leaders to begin preparing for this historic event.
